General description

This VandeStadt 40 is equipped with a fixed spray hood so you are well sheltered at sea, the whole boat is equipped for sailing at sea and long trips.

In the winter of 2021/2022 the interior was repainted and the kitchen equipped with a new refrigerator and a new stove, In 2023 the exterior was repainted with 2 component paint from De IJssel, also the rigging was renewed. In 2018 the Vetus 52 HP engine was installed.
There are 4 solar panels on the boat that charge the batteries.

The hull is built in wood /epoxy; 3 layers of mahogany, 8 mm per layer glued diagonally, on oak trusses. The whole is finished on the outside epoxy reinforced with glass mat. A strong and light construction that insulates well.
